Logline

A former Uruguayan revolutionary lives a quiet life in Belgium until his old torturer pays him a visit, threatening to kill his wife and daughter unless he hands over a hidden stash. He must now return to Uruguay and confront the ghosts of his past.

Project Status

La Tinta Invisible has received several development grants, including the Europa Media Fund and the Uruguay Audiovisual Program. In 2023, it won the Series Makers Lab and now benefits from a strong alliance between Beta Group (DE), Fernando Epstein (UY), and Need Productions (BE), with César Díaz as director—winner of the Caméra d’Or at Cannes 2019.
